LANGFOS ROCK PHOSPHATE
Langfos – Natural Origins
Over the years sedimentation from cold mineral rich fish waters along the West Coast of the Cape has formed valuable deposits which became further enriched by fossil marine and terrestial animals who contributed threefold to that unique now shallowly covered phosphate occurrence as it is mined today. Altogether 300 different species of prehistoric animals and a number of plants have been identified so far.
Arctic and subtropical climatic conditions must have alterated with storms, floods and droughts. Fluctuation in temperature and the bottom of the sea (over 120m) over the last 20 million years are the main causes of these rather drastic changes.

Eco Pellets is a premium all-purpose organic fertilizer made from high-quality poultry manure. Registered as a Group 2 Organic Fertilizer under Act 36 of 1947 (Reg No. B5147), Eco Pellets offer a safe, nutrient-rich solution for improving soil vitality and crop performance.
All manure originates from houses which are fully enclosed. The manure gets cleaned out via conveyor belts thereby eliminating contamination.
The manure then gets dried by desert air which is blown through by a drier and thereafter pelletized.
Laying hens are raised from day old chicks originating from either the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany. These countries only release chicks once they are declared healthy by an authorised veterinarian.
This means that these chicks are guaranteed MG/MS free, giving the advantage that no antibiotics are used, which is unique in the Southern African countries.
