Results achieved with Langfos

Broadcast application of Langfos, limited quantities of planting mixtures and nitrogen top dressing constitutes the most economic and most popular fertilization programmes as underlined by the following:

Maize:
Langfos broadcast before planting, natural rainfall.

Eastern Cape
–  6.3 ton/ha. 500kg of Langfos/ha followed by planting mixture and nitrogen top-dressing.

Eastern Free State
– 6.3 ton/ha. 600kg Langfos/ha followed up by plant mixture and nitrogen side-dressing.

Western Transvaal
– 5.22 ton/ha. 500kg Langfos/ha supplemented with planting mixture and nitrogen top-dressing.

Natal
–  9.9 ton/ha. 1800kg Langfos/ha applied once for the following 3 years, followed up by early applications of planting mixture and nitrogen.


Wheat:
Langfos broadcast before planting, natural rainfall.

Cape
– 4.86 ton/ha.  290kg of Langfos + 50kg of Supers and nitrogen top-dressing.

Eastern Free State
– 5.4 ton/ha. 1000kg of Langfos applied once for 3 years ahead, followed yearly by planting mixture.
– 3.42 ton/ha.  350kg of Langfos/ha and plant mixture.

Pasture
– Langfos as top-dressing, natural rainfall.


Sugar Cane:
Langfos at planting into the furrows and as top-dressing for racoon crops, natural rainfall.

Natal
– 450 tons of cane and 64 tons of raw sugar (E.R.S.)/ha. 1400kg  of Langfos for 3 crops (2 years cycle each) with top-dressing of nitrogen and potash fertilizers.
